Welcome to our Diocesan Website. It is impossible to overstate the importance of communication in any human society, church inclusive. Communication helps all members to acquaint themselves with ongoing in the society at various levels including family and community levels.

This is even more apt in this modern age of globalization where news travels fast from one end of the world to the other. It is with a joyful heart that I therefore welcome you all to this Website of our dear Diocese, so that weare kept abreast of what is going on within the Diocese as well as members of our diocese who reside outside the Diocese.

40th Anniversary Celebration: Owo Diocese Inducts Akeredolu, Ajasin, Others Into Hall of Fame

The Diocese of Owo has inducted some past and serving heroes of the church into hall of fame, as the Diocese celebrates its 40 years of existence. The Cathedral church of Saint Andrews Imola Owo was filled to capacity with dignitaries from within and outside the state who came to celebrate the inauguration of the diocese. It would be recalled that Owo Diocese was inaugurated on March 1, 1983, with the Late Rt. Revd. Abraham Awosan as the first enthroned Bishop.
